I require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations and reschedules. In the event that you have to cancel or reschedule an appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time, you may be required to pay a fee equal to 50% of the appointment cost in order to secure any future appointments, including those that may already be booked. If I am unable to collect said cancellation fee within 48 hours of cancellation notice, any other existing appointments will be canceled and you may have to pay a 100% deposit in order to secure any future appointments. Payments and Deposits I accept payment via Venmo, Zelle, and cash. If you have a card on file with my booking site, we can use that as well, and this is the card that will be charged in the event of a last minute cancellation. I do require a 50% non-refundable deposit for new clients to book with me. In the event that you need to reschedule an appointment as a new client, I will honor your deposit for one reschedule, as long as I am given the required 48 hours notice. In the event that you no-call no-show as a new client, your deposit will be forfeited and you will be required to pay a deposit of 100% of the cost of the service in order to book future appointments. ***NEW CLIENTS PLEASE READ*** Please come to your first appointment with me with bare nails. I do not include removal services for products I did not apply, including other gels and acrylic, and especially dip. In the event that you do not have old product removed before coming to me, we will have to reschedule your appointment and you may have to pay a new deposit. Repairs As a clumsy and accident-prone person myself, I totally understand that sometimes things happen to our nails! In the event that you break a nail, you are welcome to reach out to me to schedule a repair service, or if you’d rather wait until your next appointment, that is okay too. Depending on the severity of the damage, repairs can be very time consuming and thus come at an additional cost (typically $10+) and may affect the level of art I am able to provide, so as to stay on time for my next appointment. That being said, please try to remember our nails are jewels, not tools! Do not use your nails to open drink cans or boxes, or anything else that requires prying as that puts undue stress on your nails and can cause lifting and breakage. Wear gloves when doing dishes or other household cleaning as exposure to hot water and cleaning products can also cause our natural nails to dry out and pull away from the builder gel on top of them. Pricing My prices are firm. If you book for simple art, we will be doing simple art. I have chosen to operate my booking this way for transparency with pricing, as well as to help myself stay on time for other clients and so that I can have time at home with my family and pick my daughter up from school on time.
